Last weekend at least 7 Bollywood and couple of regional films in addition to one Hollywood film released in cinemas. Almost all of those tank at box office. Today one big Hollywood film ”Godzilla” and medium budget Bollywood flick ”The Xpose” clash at box office.
”Godzilla” has taken a superb start at box office and film is super strong in urban areas and English version. Film will see jump from evening onwards when election result affect will subside. As per early trends, film should register 6-6.5 cr nett day one which will be among top 3 openings ever for Hollywood films in India.
Other release ”The Xpose” has taken a slow start and film opened around 15%- 25% opening. Film will grow from evening onwards and should have decent weekend considering there is no competition at box office. As per early trends. film should collect close to 1.25-1.50 cr nett on day one which will put it on path of good weekend.
