Amarkalam to release again
Of late, several old movies are being digitally restored and hitting the screens again. The latest movie to join this list is Thala Ajith’s Superhit movie ‘Amarkalam’, which also happens to be Ajith’s 25th film. The movie, which was released on August 15th 1999, was a huge hit.
Directed by Saran, the movie has music by Bharadwaj. Incidentally, it is during the shooting of this film, Ajith and Shalini fell in love and got married later. The DI restored version of ‘Amarkalam’ will be hitting the screens on Ajith’s birthday, which falls on May 1st. Get ready Thala fans, it’s time to celebrate…
